The prestigious Chrysalis Award honors "the finest remodeling projects in the country," based on design, use of materials and space, and integration into the existing space. Regional and national winners are selected by editors and writers of consumer publications such as Sunset Magazine and Better Homes & Gardens. In 2011, more than 400 entries from throughout the U.S. vied for these honors.
