Basement Bath

The challenge of a basement bathroom is making it feel, well, like it's not in a basement. The large soffit we built to hide a heating duct also served to create an alcove at the end of the spa tub. A new wall hid the plumbing from the second-floor bathroom, while making a privacy wall between the pedestal sink and toilet. A raised level of concrete flooring was integrated as a pedestal for the spa tub.
