1885 Victorian Library

Built-in bookcases with a sliding ladder make an imposing period statement in this library. With an 11-foot ceiling, this room could easily have been overwhelmed by a wall of dark wood. We lightened the effect by mixing paint-grade wood with oak carefully stained to match the existing pocket doors.

It was a delight to find Wade. Not only was he pleasant to work with, he came in on time and under budget, and you’d never know where he repaired the ant and water damage on our old house.
