Maximizing the pleasures of baking, or any culinary endeavor, requires attention to how you work and what you love. This kitchen was designed for a young Portland couple and their aspirations for a large family and for teaching underprivileged youth the baking trade. Closely collaborating with the clients, we designed several zones for the couple's specific interests and cooking styles, including a baking center, cooking zone, main prep and clean up area, and a second prep area.
