This homeowner wanted a sunroom to spend time in year round, so we installed a radiant heater to keep the space nice and warm on those chillier days.
Build a deck.
Enjoy your backyard from a new deck space, great for dining outside, family games, and a sunny work from home spot.
During this whole house remodel we added french doors from the family room out onto the deck, creating a better flow and access point to the beautiful yard.
Restore that charm.
We love Portland craftsman style homes and all the character they add to our beautiful neighborhoods. Sadly, a lot of these homes have been stripped of their original detailing in previous remodels.
While renovating this Irvington home we stripped off the metal siding and restored the original siding left underneath. The house gave us clues to the original molding profiles that were removed when the metal cladding was put up and we restored those to the best of our ability…and the new paint colors really make those details pop!
Improve your garage.
Perhaps you need better storage, an additional hang out space, a workshop, or want to plan for an ADU?
In this project we turned this garage into a woodshop downstairs and a finished space upstairs (currently being used as an office space). Plumbing was run to the new garage in order to create a future bathroom for a potential ADU set up later on down the road.
Repair your porch.
Many Portland homes have front porches – a great place to connect with neighbors, read a book, or spend time with family.
At this craftsman home we rebuilt the sagging porch, created new decorative railing, and built new pillars which give the home a seamless and welcoming feel. We also stripped the metal siding, restored the original siding underneath and put on a new roof.
