1912 Laurelhurst Interior

Our clients wanted to restore their 1912 Craftsman home to its original character in an environmentally conscientious manner while increasing energy efficiency throughout and adding modern conveniences to the kitchen. The project encompassed the main floor, including the kitchen, dining room, living room, parlor, hallway and a powder room.

Any historical restoration/renovation relies on superior craftsmanship to deftly enfold new materials and technologies in with the old, and to make a home feel as if it were always lovingly maintained rather than “newly redone.” Meticulousness and skill level lends authenticity to the colonnade between the parlor and living room, and to the recreated woodwork throughout the home.
